1151 Sunset:

1151 Sunset

A much-talked-about project in Kelowna is the redevelopment of 1151 Sunset. The original project was started prior to the recession in 2008 and left abandoned for a number of years. The BC group of Kerkhoff Construction came to the rescue of this high-rise condominium project much to the delight of the City of Kelowna and the local community.

The condo development is a 21-story concrete residential tower in the North end of Downtown Kelowna. It sits just one block off of the beach and lakefront promenade that stretches from City Park to the end of Bay Street.

These Kelowna Condos have sold very well with only 12 units left in the building. One of the locals in the area has mentioned a new floor goes on the building every 10 days so we anticipate a fast completion for this excellent residential tower. The residential development also features several street-level townhomes all of which have sold. The current units available are all 2 bedrooms on levels 3 to 20. The top 3 floors feature only 2 condos per floor while the lower floors have 6 units per floor. These all have amazing lake views.

Kerkhoff Construction has an excellent reputation for building this type of project. They have been a leading developer in the lower mainland for over 40 years and have an impressive gallery of projects, including high-rise residential, townhome development, community development residential condominium projects, and single-family homes. They have also been involved in many infrastructure works and commercial building projects.

The project is slated for completion in 2018 and features the architecture of Meiklejohn Architects a local favourite in the Okanagan Valley.

These Condos began at a reasonable $389,900 and topped out at $1.6 Million for the penthouse suite.
