Along with the ones of the future! This is a fun-filled weekend where we bring history to life and work to inspire the next generation to pursue a career in heavy equipment/agriculture!

This event is hosted by the Okanagan Antique Power Club, which is dedicated to safeguarding the agricultural traditions and rich history of our region while actively engaging and educating the future generation on the importance of agriculture. Our approach involves seamlessly integrating elements of the past into our initiatives, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the legacy that sustains our communities.

Join us for the 17th Annual YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids event, presented by The Payton and Dillon Memorial Fund, on June 2nd at our NEW location: Stuart Park in Downtown Kelowna! This year’s event promises more community involvement than ever before, with exciting additions like new Jr. kids bikes, a Kids’ Zone, a bouncy castle, children’s activities, a photo booth, and much more.

70 YMCA stationary bikes and 4 new Jr. kids stationary bikes will be set up under a tent at downtown Stuart Park. On June 2nd from 10 am to 2 pm, we’ll run four 45-minute spin sessions led by YMCA cycle instructors. Participants can register and reserve their bikes for a $50 fee, with a fundraising goal of at least $250 each. Our ultimate aim is to provide over 1,300 local vulnerable children and youth with free or subsidized membership and access to our Child and Youth Development programs.

We’re also on the lookout for more participants, sponsors, and volunteers to help make this event a success. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering on June 1st for set up or on June 2nd at the event, please sign up using the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/pgLNBEmCHM
