1. Kelowna Remembrance Day Parade

Branch 26 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold its annual Remembrance Day parade and ceremony in downtown Kelowna. Beginning at 10:45 a.m., the parade will start at Bernard Ave. (at Water St.) and proceed along the Abbott St to the Cenotaph in City Park for the ceremony. A reminder that roads will be temporarily closed to accommodate the parade.
2. Ballet Kelowna Performance: Ode an Homage

The 2024/25 season opens with Ode, a program to celebrate long-time company artist Desiree Bortolussi and mark her retirement after thirteen illustrious years with Ballet Kelowna. For her final performances, Ms. Bortolussi will be featured in Simone Orlando’s seductive Cuatro Estaciones, Guillaume Côté’s riveting Bolero, and the Canadian premiere of Trey McIntyre’s The Reassuring Effects (of Form and Poetry) in what promises to be a triumphant and emotional evening of dance.
